The current administration is pursuing policies to reduce regulations and expenditures across government including at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (“HHS”), the FDA, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services and related agencies. These actions may propose policy changes that may create additional uncertainty for our business. For example, the current administration has announced agreements with pharmaceutical companies that require the drug manufacturers to offer, through a direct-to-consumer platform (TrumpRx), U.S. patients and Medicaid programs prescription drug Most-Favored Nation pricing equal to or lower than those paid in other developed nations, with additional mandates for direct-to-patient discounts and repatriation of foreign revenues.
