In addition, the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022 (“IRA”) contains provisions intended to lower beneficiary drug spending. Beginning in 2023, the IRA enables Medicare to negotiate prescription drug prices with manufacturers of certain high-cost drugs for the first time. Each year, CMS will select and negotiate a preset number of high-spend drugs and biologics that are covered under Medicare Part B and Part D that do not have generic or biosimilar competition. In January 2025, CMS announced a list of fifteen additional Medicare Part D drugs that will be subject to price negotiations. To date, none of our products have been selected to be subject to price negotiations.
